Name Change Report

I am needing to create a report out of GHR that shows any name changes made the week prior. This will be a SQL report that will be placed in a folder for other staff to use for employee badges, etc. I am needing to know what table would hold the name changes with the effective dates as I am not finding where we can run a report from. Has anyone else done this?

We created an IPA with a SQL node looking for name change related actions in the EMPLOYEEEXPORT table. Then we look at what their previous name was and report the before/after.

I have another question if you don't mind. On our Employees we have a User Field for UserID. I have found this table USERFIELD_STORAGE but not sure how to link to the employee. I am sure there has to be a way as this gets interfaced over to S3 userfield as well. Do you have any user fields set up and know how they are linked to the employee? Thank you

Hi Ddford... Yes, we have some custom fields setup and we report on them through that table (USERFILED_STORAGE).

I think you could try linking the field UFSUNIQUEID from that table to the UNIQUEID of your EMPLOYEE table. Then you would make a selection where UFSFIELDNAME is equal to your UserID field name. Then, the value will be available in the ALPHA field... not sure if I was clear, but that is how we do to get those custom fields in our Crystal Reports here.
