EEO component 2 Worked hours

Curious as to what the PA390 is using to pull worked hours? We have many pay codes, some are worked hours, some are vacation hours , some are just shift premium hours. Not all would be included as worked hours and the report did not include a field to enter a pay class. Trying to tie out to the hours on a PR260.

We have the same issues, it is reporting incorrect hours, it is pulling from QTW table and it is pulling everything (shift differentials, etc.) , not just hours worked. We have a case open with Infor. They should have an option on the report to enter what Pay Sum Groups or Codes you use for actual labor/hours worked. Every organization is going to be different, so I feel they would need to add this option to the report. Unfortunately, I will be doing ours manually because it is not accurate data that is reporting for us.

We are experiencing the same exact issues. Quartwage table would be fine if the pay sum grps could be chosen and pulled in for accurate wages.

I have not identified an issue there, at this point it seems that things are falling in the correct paybands and categories. I have not completed my full audit on that. I have pulled our actual W2 files, so I will be able to do a full comparison. I think it's really just an issue with hours though. I would recommend opening a ticket and making them aware you are having this issue too. Hopefully, they will come up with a solution, if not for this year, at least for next year.

We encountered the same issue and were unable to back into the correct numbers. We have given up and will be doing our manually, as well.

are any of you all getting 0 hours for any people? we have some where 0 hours are showing. Not many but there are a few. Not sure how to determine the cause for this, or which employees this would be.

I've logged a ticket with Infor for the hour issue this morning. I've also had an issue with hours being reported, but there isn't an employee count. This seems to be specifically in the Male Hispanic hour category. As anyone else observed this?

I am not sure if you received a response yet, but I did hear from them this morning and the developers are now aware of the issue and are working on it. I am not sure if it will be fixed before the deadline, but I completed this portion manually for ours. I completed my final audits yesterday and everything else worked out fine, other than a few very minor teaks to employee counts in pay bads, but that was likely a timing thing on our end.

what was your process do determine this manually and come up with your hours? Do you have many employees?

I have a Crystal report I built for another processes I use that pulls in hours worked using the PRTIME table. You could use MS Add-ins too. I can set my parameters using our pay sum groups that are used for actual hours worked and the year. I also keep' active employee' demographic files that I run weekly, so I always have historical data, it includes their EEO class, etc, so I was able to easily capture the job categories from that. You should be able to pull the hours using the QUARTERWAGE table as well. I also have our W2 reports to pull the Box 1 wages. From there I added a column to my demographic file to indicate what payband the employees salary fell into and then just did vlookups to pull in the hours and W2 Box 1 wages for the year into that file. Once I had all of the data it was simply a matter of creating pivot tables with filters to get the data I needed to complete the report. After the hours were completed, I ran counts on the same file and compared it to the Infor report with the employee counts, to be sure everything was correct. You'll also want to be sure you validate each category where a box that is filled in for hours, has a box filled in with a count on the employee counts report. That is where I had to make just a few tweaks, but that report overall was pretty much dead on for us. The reporting I do is only for my region of 3000 employees. I hope this is somewhat helpful for you!

my incident ticket number is 13837012. It is currently in Awaiting for Development. I did notice that the hours are not showing on the csv file. Just on the report. I'm guessing the csv is excluding any record that does not have an employee count.

quick question to those seeing issues with the report. Do you know if your PA93 was recompiled after applying the patchs?

Are any of you having 0 hours (or blank) show up in the CSV file for some records?

anyone heard any updates from development on this? Ive got a ticket open with Lawson, but I seem to hear things sooner on this community than I do from the actual person working the issue ticket.

I logged another incident and got this response: CTP 120837. (KB 2086440 CTP 120837, includes JT-1306181, JT-1324442 and JT-1326889 which are all of the patches from last week. Is everyone just doing the hours manually?

We are not. With 2000 employees and a very diverse workforce both in types of employees and EEOC categories it would be a huge task to manually create an accurate CSV file to upload.

Has anyone uploaded a CSV file successfully?

just got this response: Development is adding a new tab to PA390 so Customers can select up to 10 pay classes to determine which hours to include in the EEO-1 Component 2 data. It is in QA as of today JT-1327792

I asked for an update on my case, I will see what I hear, but have not heard anything yet about a patch as Mary Porter has mentioned above. In our case, if it is only 10 pay sum groups, it will not work for us, we have at least 17.

We had no choice but to do ours manually. We do not have the time to wait for the patch and also go through an audit again on the new patch to be sure it is working corretly. Maybe next year we'll be able to use the report in Lawson.

It is pay classes and you can create as many pay classes as you like for reporting purposes.

I opened my ticket back up and asked when LSF10 was going to be released.

Anyone else having issues with the Multiple Race code? All our female multiple race employees are being included in the counts but reflect 0 hours in every case. Maybe this new patch will correct I'm hoping.

Yes. I was hoping to apply the new patch and see what happens. I was getting 0 hours for those as well.

I applied the hours patch a min ago. I do not see a difference with some reporting 0 hours. In our CSV file the hours field is just blank. In the report it just shows 0 even though it pulled a person in the employee total section.

I noticed on ours it is not just limited to 2 or More race females though, as we have blanks and 0's on others also.

what does your form look like now? The patch has been installed but I still don't see a tab for pay classes

There is a tab called pay classes. Are you updating / activating - compiling your patch etc? Maybe you need to refresh your cache.

Has anyone opened an incident with INFOR to report the issue of 0 reported hours for 2 or more race females? If yes, have they responded? Just curious if they know about and are working on this issue.

I have reported it. They thought it would be fixed with this update but obviously that didn't happen.

are your alls only related to 2 or more race females? I see all of those as blank / 0, but I have others as well. Do you all have others blank in the file?

I put a ticket in as well on the missing multiple race female counts. That was the only category we had as consistently all zeros for hours, although we seem to have 1 person in a trainee EEO cat that was skipped entirely for no apparent reason. Can live with that for now.

FYI, in response to my ticket on missing multi-race female, development is aware of the issue and has now opened a new ticket to work on resolution. JT-1331396 will address this issue and is now being worked on by their Development team.

wonder how soon they are expecting to have it, as we are less than 2 weeks until deadline.

JT-1331396 was released yesterday for LSF9 and LSF10. Has anyone installed it?

We did and it corrected the female reporting issue however we are now waiting on another CTP to fix the entity type 3 report issue.

I ran the PA390 in update mode. What is the name of the electronic file it produces. Thanks.

I believe update mode is more for the EEO 1 part 1.

The comp 2 creates a file called EEO1COMP2.csv

I ran the 2017 file in update but I need that new patch for female two-races. Can I run the report again in update mode with the same pay dates. thanks

The patch was applied last night for the 2+race issue. I had to re-enter the ethnicity page and now it won't let me save the change. I receive an error message "Must enter one ethnicity for black" . Has anyone else had this problem.
