HR11 security with LSO and ESS

We allow employees to modify a few HR11 fields via ESS. To restrict ESS users from going to the HR11 form directly, we have removed the navigation box. All backend users of Lawson use a different log in to perform any backend functions. This allows us to restrict HR11 from backend users as needed. Our accounting department uses LSO and they can navigate to HR11 if they log into LSO using their ESS login. They are restricted to only view themselves, but we only want them access HR information using ESS bookmarks. We will have the same issue when moving to LS9. We had the hopes to do away with the special backend user login. How do we prevent backend users from making changes directly to the HR11 form if they login to LSO via their ESS instead of their backend login?

Don't know if this will work for you or not, but using Lawson security you can make access to the tabs on the HR11 restricted and still give access to the fields on the tab. This would allow ESS users to update information and those accessing the HR11 would not be able to move around on the tabs unless you gave them permission to do so.
