Material Barcoding

A few months ago we started looking into BTS Material. We have purchased guns for performing the task, but I have been unable to get the guns to communicate with our DB. The VMBTS.exe program provided in our Visual directory is not compatible with Windows Mobile either.

Have any of you successfully implemented BTS Material? If so what hardware/software is being used? I am at the point now where I am looking into returning the guns and heading towards a more tablet based system with the Socket Barcode scanners. We are looking for a "real-time" solution.

Any recommendations/advice?

We used Telnet and Ataman to link the Windows CE hand held scanners to BTS. We needed to log quite a bit of support time in INFOR365 Online.

Hello,
We are looking at Ataman and Windows CE as well. A Lurvey, are there any particulars from the Infor365 experience I should look closely at?
Is your experience with BTS positive or would you have considered an alternative as Brian mentioned.
