PR294 not balancing to PR260/PR141 for quarter

Our payroll department is having trouble balancing the PR260's (and PR141s) to our PR294 (gross & flex). No adjustments have been done. Anyone have issues with balancing these programs and if so, were you able to determine where the issue was? Wondering if we have a bug in our PR294.

Hi Deanna, I know that PR294 and PR260 are based on different tables, which might be part of the issue, so I looked in the KB and found this article. You might want to try this report, PR266, which is supposed to help you reconcile between the different tables that PR294 and PR260 use. The article also shows the tables that are used by each program.

Thank you for the information & KB article! We were not aware of this program. Just ran it and there was no differences so not sure where to go from here.

I also had no idea the PR266 existed, so thanks for that.

As for having the issue of gross & flex being off, I think when we had this issue, it happened when we had employees whose pretax deductions completely reduced their tax liability to zero--so the PR294 didn't pick up their gross wages or their flex deductions. Maybe this is what you're running into as well.
