Systems Analyst vs. System Administrator

This is a general question.  Discussing responsibilities for the Infor Lawson systems and have been asked how others divide out what is performed by who.  I would like to see how others divide what is a Systems Administrators responsibility and what is a System Analyst responsibility. 

Currently there are two of us Systems Analysts that support the different areas that use Infor Lawson products.  We troubleshoot issues they have etc.  However we have also been responsibility for patches, updates, server downtimes etc.  It really is a lot for 2 employees to cover and we do not necessarily have the knowledge needed to the system admin responsibilities.  I am trying to make a case that we need a System Administrator as well. 

Any input would be welcome.

We as analysts are responsible for all of the things within the application. We troubleshoot. We coordinate projects and testing and tickets through our helpdesk. Our systems admin manages the database, security, installing CTP's, reboots, down times, anything on the system side. We have 2 analysts, 1 programmer, and 1 system admin on our Lawson team and sometime it is tough to keep up with the demands. We have a very clear line of responsibility we do in the actual application the admin does everything else.
