EEO1 Component 2

Hi - our component 2 employee counts are not matching up against what we submitted on the EEO1 for the same pay period for 2018. Anyone experiencing? Thanks.

Yes. We are thinking this may be due to rehires.

I was having trouble getting them to match as well. When I ran it for component 2, I originally marked NO for check history since that is what I had when I ran it for component 1. However, when I changed it to YES check history, I got much closer (because you really do need to go back to that point in time). When I reached out to NORC with my issue, this is the response that I received:

Thank you for contacting the EEOC Component 2 help desk at NORC. We are happy to inform you that components 1 and 2 are independent of each other. We encourage you to continue collecting the data for component 2 without any worries of whether it matched component 1’s data.
