Trying to customize Pick List Report Viewer in CSI 9.01

I need to have some information from the customer order record display on the Pick List Report. I am trying to add the SLCOs as a secondary collection. When I add the Permanent Expression Filter CONum=FP(RefNum), I get no results. It appears that the RefNum in the SLPickListReport collection should match the Customer Order Number (CoNum). I have added a StdFormReportGenerate event to refresh my secondary collection. Has anyone had luck customizing the Pick List Report Viewer and adding information about the customer order?

Yes, I did it by modifying the stored procedure to get the customer order information I needed.

Yes, so are we. I did it using Edit Stored Procedure and created an extgen of it.

Would you mind sharing your extgen? I was trying to stay away from customizing the stored procedure due to all the warnings from support about this, but it looks like that may be the only way.

So I decided to do this by extending the SLPickListRefs IDO and then making it a secondary collection on the report. This is working well, but I want to add the Ship To address to the form. On the SLCos IDO, it has a property, FormatShipToAddress that I want to use. The Implementation for this on the SLCos IDO is:

CASE WHEN CustNum <> '' AND CustNum IS NOT NULL THEN dbo.FormatAddress(CustNum, CustSeq) ELSE '' END

I don't know what FormatAddress is or how it is referenced. Anyone know how I can format this to work in my extended IDO?

We are on-premise so I can see the definition of this FormatAddress function.

It takes 2 parameters :

- @CustNum, of CustNumType type, which is nvarchar(7) with no default.

- @CustSeq, of CustSeqType type, which is int with no default.

It returns a LongAddress, which is nvarchar(4000).

I guess the cloud version is pretty similar(?)
