I completed our EEO-1 component one reporting earlier this year for the first time. My organization has always ran the PA390 in Lawson and manually keyed the numbers in the government website by hand. I'm wanting to avoid doing this for the next filing cycling and utilize the data file option provided by the government.
As many people have commented here on the community, Lawson did release a patch for EEO-1 component two which created an output file that could be uploaded directly to the NORC website (without much) manipulation. My organization didn't utilize this as we didn't want to wait until the last minute, but I have seen the output file Lawson creates for component two.
Has anyone been able to successfully have Lawson create an output file for component one? The Create CSV File button after running the PA390 in the print manager doesn't meet the government specifications for the file upload, and other files (PRT, DTL) on the back-end server doesn't provide anything useful.
I don't understand how Lawson can come up with a solution for component two, but not component one. Any suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated. It'll be January again before we know it, which is why I'm researching this now.
