Update Payroll deleting payslip frx file

My customer has an issue where when running a Payroll update it randomly deletes the payslip frx file

This started when they upgraded tp 2.60

They are running on an RDS server

We have tried turning off anti-virus and logging out all users when updating but neither makes a difference

They have multiple payroll companies and run weekly payroll and they get this issue every few weeks

They copy back the frx file & restore from backup and it is usually fine when they run it a second time

Has any one else had this issue?

Pegasus can't investigate as we can't reproduce it

Hi, we havent had this issue, but have you checked volume shadow copy, or any other disaster recovery? AS standard Windows servers come with this enabled to copy all files at 7am & 12pm, which will be when Opera is being used. AS you can imagine, you wouldn't deliberately copy files with users in, and we have see this VSC cause issues. WE disable this on the Opera directory



What sort of AV have they got?
