Hi,
A widget is either a standard widget or a published widget. Standard widgets are generally delivered by Infor and already part of the installation, this is true for on-premise and cloud. Which standard widgets are available to you depends on the applications that you have in Ming.le. You can view the list of standard widgets in Ming.le Homepages Administration tool.
If you are a HOMEPAGES-Administrator that tool is available under the (...) menu -> Advanced -> Administration tool. Look for the Standard widgets tool. If you don't see the widget you are looking for then check if there is a filter to view all widgets (not only those that are active because you have the application). This extra filter is only available on prem.
Back to you question. What widget are you looking for? Do you know the widget id or the title of the widget?
If you have a standard widget it can be configured, such a configuration can be published to the catalog and that is what we call a published widget? For example the M3 widgets are highly configurable and the standard widgets is just a way to be able to configure whatever you would like to see. Delayed orders, customers close to credit limit etc. In that case the standard widget is like an empty canvas and you will need to configure it to make it meaningful.
That configuration is just the settings that needs to be applied, it's not the standard widget itself.
There is no repository for downloading published widgets (widget configurations) or standard widgets.
Except for those widgets delivered by Inform, there might also be widgets developed by customers and partners which can be installed on-prem, or in cloud (after a review process), but there is currently no forum for sharing those, standard or published.
But it is an interesting area for us at Infor, to have a platform for sharing that type of content.

Hi Karin,
We have a hosted GDE and as I understand from your response below, we can not import custom widgets in infor cloud installation (only after a review process). What do you mean by "review process"?
Thanks & regards

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean with hosted GDE, I'm afraid in my world GDE is Global Demo Environments and the tenants Infor have for demo purposes. In cloud it's not allowed to simply upload a widget. The review process for this is still under development.
The review process is for a developed widget that have new code. It's possible that you might just be looking for configuration of existing widgets. For example in the case of M3 there are just a few widgets but infinite configuration possibilities in which case it's interesting to see examples on how these standard widgets are configured. When it comes to a newly developed widget you would develop your own widget in TypeScript using the Homepages Developers Guide, but it needs to behave consistently and use resources in an effective manner and there are a bunch of review checklists that we check. Check the DevlopersGuide.pdf at this location:
github.com/.../homepages-widget-sdk
If you have questions on developing code for specific widgets, called tenant widgets in cloud, the only recommendation I can give would be to contact the Product Manager for Ming.le Homepages, Ryan.Bavery@infor.com.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, GDE is for Global Demo Environment.
Under "Homepages Administration" -> "Widgets" -> "Tenant Widgets" I wanted to import the sample widget "tenant.sample.angular.helloworld.zip" but I got the error "The widget must be signed by Infor" ?!
