HSA and High Deductible Plan

Has anyone successfully set up a High Deductible Health Plan with an HSA? I see a lot of older threads that mention enrollment by paper forms.   I found the prerequisite setup on BS03 to only allow an employee in ESS to start their own contribution to the HSA if they enroll in the high deductible plan. Is there a way to auto start the Employer contribution to the HSA from the employee's enrollment in the high deductible plan? Would anyone be willing to share their setup? Everything I have come across so far has mentioned paper enrollments and/or lots of auditing and correcting after the fact. Thank you in advance for any help!

We started with an HDHP and HSA plan this calendar year but are not offering any employer contribution to the HSA. We also read about all the issues with the setup so we purchased the Intellias Benefits Addins. They configured everything so that only individuals enrolled in the HDHP have the option for the HSA. Individuals who enrolled in PPO or waived health insurance were automatically enrolled in the HSA waive plan. They did all the configuration pieces but we're able to add text on to each screen within ESS, including URL's to additional information. This allowed us to better explain the available benefits to employees within the ESS enrollment event. The only issue we had is that we had to follow up with people who did elect HSA to ensure they actually opened their account at the bank before January 1st.
