How to delete Document Types and Report rules in DOM

I am in the process of setting up and rolling out DOM to multiple companies all over the world. Since our naming convention has changed I did a new setup for Document Type and related Report Rules. I would like to delete the old ones, to keep my system as clean as possible but it gives me the message that the record is used by another table while deleting. How can I delete the old report rules and document types?

I have fount the reason why. There were still batches refering to the document type. I cancelled the batches and deleted them. After this I was able to delete the document type
