HCM Config Console - Change Menu

Hello,

I want to see if someone has done config console change to employee menu. I couldn't find a way to change HCM menu. Please share if you know how. Thank you.

What are you trying to configure specifically? Are you trying to hide menu navigation items? Do you have an example you could share?

Yes, I am trying to hide an item. For example, hide "Find A Coworker" from employee menu

Okay. My experience has been that hiding Menu items is actually easier and faster if done using security. For example if you look at the Employee role delivered you should see the GHREmployeeWebAppAccess security class. Within that class is reference to the FindACoworker Menu Item.

Hopefully you already have a configured Employee Role. Next I would configure the above mentioned security class. The configuration is to make that Menu Item not accessible. Something like this:

FindACoworker MenuItem for LRCEmployeeMenu Menu

is not accessible in past,current,future

for all actions

unconditionally
