CloudSuite Supply Chain - does it support perpetual inventory

Hello

We are not yet using Infor Supply Chain (we own it, just not budgeted to implement yet). 
Can anyone share with me if it support 'perpetual inventory' practices?  I'm IT and not really familiar with in depth supply chain items. 
I know our current system and current supply chain manager have issue/concerns with perpetual inventory with our larger supply rooms..  Such as Surgery, Cardiac and IRU surg areas.
We have Epic for our emr.
I know this isn't a lot of info as I don't have all of the understanding yet but I guess I'm thinking it is a simple 'yes Infor CloudSuite supports perpetual inventory' and has good reporting.

Does that make sense?

Yes - Lawson supports perpetual inventory.



In terms of perpetual and Epic Optime - Optime will need to generate some sort of flat file when items are used and this will have to be converted and loaded into Lawson. We aren't CloudSuite - we're v10 so I'm not certain what the import is called - but yes, importing Requisitions from Other Places is a thing Infor can do all day long.



In v10, the file would come across FTP and Cloverleaf would convert it to the RQ500 (Req Import Job Name in v10) format. IPA would then run the import job that would create a requisition against inventory and process it out as a pick ticket. That can either be printed to actually print or automatically processed and closed depending on whether Optime is sending it before or after the case in the OR.



Inventory will absolutely report on what got issued out when and where.
