Use of Office 2019 with Visual Mfg and Visual CRM

We are currently considering upgrading to Office 2019. We understand that 2019 is not indicated as supported by Visual 9.x.x. However, we are wondering is anyone is currently using office 2019 in conjunction with Visual 9.x.x and if so have you had any issues integration of email /excel etc. 

I'm also curious what your opinions would be if you had a choice to upgrade to office 2016 or 2019 which would you do?

We use office 2010 all the way up to office 2019 and have no issues. We send emails from Visual with no problem.



As for the office version that gets tricky. it really depends on where you want to spend your money. Microsoft is making the standalone versions of office very expensive. This is their way of pushing people to O365. But running that requires a lot of changes in your server(s) setup. So if you would rather spend your money on standalone office buy 2019. It will cover you till 2029.
