I am trying to hide or omit the SSN in the pr275 report. I was able to shorten the limit of the SSN characters, but was not able to omit it. Anyone know how? Is it possible to just do it in Report form?
Hi Kin, If I understand you correctly, I don't think you can mask the SSN in the PR275 report member (PR275.rpt). If you are asking about Smart Reports, I do not have experience with that tool. That said, we hid all the employee banking information from our PR140 reports by making a small modification to the source code. Since it sounds like you are already working with a custom copy of the program, this is something you might consider. The field name of the SSN that appears on the PR275 report is EL-FICA-NBR. I searched for this in the PR275 source member, PR275PD. It only occurs 1 time in the paragraph below. If you move SPACES to EL-FICA-NUMBER instead of SR-FICA-NBR, you should be good to go.
