[ION Desk] [Document Flow] Is it possible to enrich the output of an ION API connector with value fr

Hey All,

We have a document flow that uses an ION API connector to get data from an API. We use an input BOD in request parameters using path to the elements. The API response is captured in a new BOD of XML type.

Is it possible to propagate some input data in the output of the API connector? Something like the enrichment scenario for web service connector.

We have tried a parallel flow but there seems to be no way to combine two BODs into one at the end of the parallel flow.

Hi, I have the same question. did you ever get an answer?

We have an external API that responds <Response><Code>200></Code><message>Message accepted</message></Response> no idea which outgoing message it referred to :-(

Unfortunately not yet. There is a feature in development 'Merge' which would provide this capability.

I have it confirmed from support that it will be included in the June release - no idea how definite that is, or whether it could slip.

i would suggest looking at API Flow, depending on your scenario. It can take JSON , call an API and add the result to the original JSON. You could script XML JSON conversion on the in and out to use with XML.
