How to load LN Data to the Data Lake

Hello. We recently acquired LN Analytics for Birst, which reports on LN documents transmitted to the data lake, then extracted to Birst. One problem we've run into right away unfortunately is that there are a lot of LN fields that are not in that integration that we need to report on in birst. For example, an Item's safety time or safety quantity, or inventory levels.

I understand how to get the document data into the data lake using a data lake flow, but I'm having a hard time finding out how to add LN data to a connection point. The connection point in the integration -- has a listed set of documents, but I need others as well. Anyone know of any tutorials or walk thru of how to load data from a LN table or screen or BOD into the data lake? I think it will require using BODs, but not finding any good examples.

There is a Data publishing menu as submenu inside Tools / Integration. There you can define companies for which you are publishing the data, tables and as well you can define which fields not to include in data export. When you do a change, you have to trigger a convert to runtime and at that time the documents in ION's IMS connection point are refreshed with new documents/fields based on your change in LN.

Thanks Tilen, that really helped. I realized after comparing my "Data Sets To Publish" session between 2 different tenants, that the one I was working in has some sort of missing permission or something, where i don't get the ability/column icon to drill into the companies and tables for a given dataset like I do in another.

In the environment where I do have that access, I got to the point where i was able to find the table in the package, add it a new dataset, and flag both the table and the dataset for publishing. I get a row count when i have the count option set for publishing the initial load, which is 59 rows. When i change the option from count to publish, i get the error below. Looking into this error message...

Document 'LN_tcibd200' is not accepted for tenantId 'MyTenantNameWasHere' and logicalId 'lid://infor.ln.ln01:ims' as no active route exists for it.:tcibd200:51

Ooh nevermind, I think the step I missed was I had to add that to my ln01 ims connection point and then publish. Error went away after that.

Yes, that message usually means that IMS connection point is able to receive JSON from LN, but it doesn't know where to send it. You have to add to the dataflow between the source (IMS) CP and target CP.
