We are testing Shop Floor 9.0.8 SP1 in our lab environment and are getting this error when running Labor Entry Stop Job.
“Instance OurDB|35f98df-05be-45c9-b0d0-297567107f3 not open. Check registration of Instance, or mode of operation.”
Actually have had it happen on Start Job occasionally but always on Stop Job. Since Start Job Labor Ticket is successfully being created it tells me that we are connecting and writing to the database.
We run a Citrix environment so the Visual apps are on the Citrix servers.
Shop Floor is on its own Web Server.
Working with Infor Support they had us make few IIS configuration changes and install Visual on the web server update the Database.Config file. Still receiving the error.
This is very similar to the posting VISUAL Shop Floor 9.0.8.020 Service Pack 1 - Connection Issues made on Nov 18th by Dave Gorman.
Cleared cache, restarted IIS and the server, no luck.
Anyone else run across this error?
