Compass query: data object is archived and cannot be accessed

I am getting an error as object is Archived and cannot retrieve data, in compass query. Given below the error message

Data Storage ERROR Message 578

The data object is archived and cannot be accessed. Restore the data object to Data Lake to include the data in Compass queries. Mark the object as corrupt in Data Lake to exclude the data from Compass queries.

The object I am trying access got a data load last month. Archival period is set to 365 days.

How can I fix it?

Hi Sethu,

I'd recommend setting archiving to OFF for Storage Policies. Regarding the issue you're seeing, check out KB 2097962 for some additional details.

In short, you can restore data from your archived storage tier. Once those are back in hot storage, you should be able to query the data.

Thanks Mike, I will check and KB and work on restoring data from Archive.
