We have facilities in different taxing authorities in the NE and have associates who work at multiple facilities during the pay cycle.
We have been asked to allocate hours worked and benefits to the appropriate location. We had been using PR23 and PR30 for this but it has become cumbersome and is not accurate as an associate may work at location A for 20 hours and location B for 20 hours this pay cycle and all 40 hours at Location A the next (or a varied combination of about 10 different locations).
We use Kronos for our timekeeping and getting the hours allocated for hourly associates is simple enough, salaried is a bit more difficult to capture as it depends on if the associate tells the timekeeper where they are working for a particular day.
We are getting close but still have the following hurdles to overcome
Imputed income from a Life Insurance benefit
PR82 adjustments
The fact that we prepay some monthly associates (Process the payroll on the 15th of january with a January 31 paydate)
