We had a labor ticket from 2018 be updated with a clock out time on 12/18/2019 and subsequently costed with 17138 hours of labor. It ended up being costed for $204K of labor and $920K of burden resulting in huge labor and burden variances.
I restored a backup of the database prior to this change to attempt to see what the status was a few days before this happened. I connected to that restored database in Visual Mfg. and attempted to see if I could do the update on the front end. I was unable to save any edits to the labor ticket because of being in a closed period and also the employee on the ticket being inactive now. Therefore, I don't believe that the ticket was updated by someone on the front end.
I have attached a spreadsheet showing the SQL select outputs showing the data for the labor ticket, work order and operation. Each has two rows - the first showing the data as of now (after this change) and the second row showing the data as it was a few days prior.
Any thoughts on what could have triggered this change?
