W2 availability in ESS
deanna-plant
Interested in learning how others are successfully publishing W2's in Employee Self Service? We currently are printing hardcopies through our Standard Register Linkup printer software/system which creates a separate pdf file for each employee W2. Does anyone know how we could make this work in ESS?
Thanks in advance!

We use MHC Software.

We use MHC Software for W-2s and their Document Self-Service product to deliver other documents via ESS.

MHC sounds popular - unfortunately we are trying to make this available given the tools/software that we currently have. Has anyone been able to do this utilizing ESS and/or LBI? I know you can burst a pdf file in LBI but wasn't sure how this could work for us if each individual W2 is a separate pdf file.

After generating W2s we store the W2 data in a custom table. Then we created two HTML pages for ESS. The first lets the employee select which year's W2 they want to display. The second displays a W2 image with the data overlaid for the year they chose.

Mark,
Would you mine sharing the html code for the page that allows the employee to view the W2 with the overlaid data?

Since the html is generated by a server-side .asp page, the actual code that does all the work is not visible -- just the results. But these should give you an idea how it's laid out.

Does anyone use ADP as their electronic W2 solution? If so, are you satisfied?
