I recently entered enhancement 51403 to add the Current Total FTE and FTE Variance to the delivered Request A Budget form. Why you ask? The Request A Budget form requires that you enter in the total FTE (Current Total FTE + the FTEs you want to request), but the current total FTE is not displayed on the form. It makes it very confusing to the initiator of the form. For the approvers of the form, having the Current Total FTE and Variance listed helps to determine if they should approve the requst. This wouldn't replace any conversations between managers and the approver, but being realistic - many times the approver receives multiple requests and having the information right on the form would help them process the requests easier.
