We recently upgraded to the latest version of Opera II and DOCMAN V3. We upgraded all the Opera client and DM clients and all worked well.
However, the customer is now installing new W10 64bit PC's (1909). The Opera clients installed fine but the DOCMAN install fails with "Client must be installed from Server Folder"
We have tried
- Logged in local admin and domain admin
- Installing .net 2 & 3
- Disabled AV
- Disabled firewall
- Checked we can access SQL server using MS tools – we can
- installing old DM client and the ungrading DM
- Opera server and DM are on different servers, I found some documentation saying you need to ensure the DM folder is shared out will full permissions - done this
