BN 297 not reflect employee cost - line 15

Hello everyone,

Our lowest employee cost is 0.00 which reflects on BN 99 & 990. However, the employee cost line of BN 297 is blank for all employees. I'm unable to override in BN 27.2 plus this needs to be updated for all employees?

Would BN527 upload be required to since this is for everyone? If yes, please share your template.

Please share your ideas and experience around this. Thank you in advance!!

Hey Nikki,

What is the Offer Code for your plans in Lawson on BN15.3 - ACA Plan Details. If the Offer Code is 1A then my understanding is the Cost of the Health Insurance does not have to be displayed on the 1095-c.

The override could be performed on BN27.2 for each employee or through an upload on BN527. The cost for each month of the health insurance would need to be populated for each month.

Our offer code on BN 15 is 1E and we have never had an issue until this year with the zero EE cost. I can co-star for sure...

I tried to override in BN27.2 but the BN297 still shows blank. Type in 0 in all months and Y for full topic override. Is there a special character that I'm missing?

Hi there, we ran a test print of the BN 297 and guess what! - the $0.00 reflects on line 15 of the 1095-C for everyone. The BN297 reports showed blank but the test print reflect the $0.00 - which is compliant with the IRS instructions...Thank you everyone for your time and feedback!
