has anyone started using the PR298 to create the corrections for W2s. Mine is erroring out AGAIN and it is very frustrating that this program always has issues.
I am working with infor on the PR298 - i know when i asked over a month ago if any one had started using it - only a few but wondering if anyone else is using it and getting results.
Our payroll team has processed W2C. We used our original W2 csv file, and used an employee group to create the updated W2 csv. We use MHC to print our W2C, so I am not sure if that is your issue. We did find a problem with the PR298 program - If there is a name change, the original fields LastName, FirstName, and MiddleInit did not populate. We took the csv output, and manually updated the fields for our print output. Lawson is aware, and is working on a JT, but I do not think it has been fixed yet.
Thanks Denise, i use this program all year long for prior year corrections even up to December of 2019. Starting in late January we went to use it and it failed with an incorrect error message that Employee so and so is not in original file which they were. They supplied us a patch but it still is not processing through the whole job and still errors out. So was looking for some one who was not having any issues.
