Allow HSA Contribution Changes outside open enrollment

Hi.. the benefits area needs to allow employees to change their HSA contributions at anytime during the year even when there is no life event to trigger it. They created a form to start allowing it immediately, but would like the employee to do it through Lawson instead. Does anyone else allow this change to happen outside open enrollment and has it setup in Lawson for the employee to enter themselves? If so, how do you have it setup. I could not find anything in the BS enrollment screens that would allow it without selecting a life event option. Thanks..

We allow HSA payroll contributions throughout the year but could not find a way to do that through employee self-service. We just developed a PDF form that employees can either print and submit or send electronically via email.

In Lawson S3 I cannot think of a way to do this. But in Infor cloudsite (GHR) you could develop a life event to do this for you.

Thank you.. I know Lawson would like everyone to go to GHR so doesn't surprise me they put the functionality there and not S3.

the only thing I could think you could try is if you are not using one of the current life events (like legal separation) and do a change to the name that appears on the ESS screen (end design??) then set it up for just the HSA plan change. Would need someone that knows how to get that coding to do it.

Thanks for the idea... We currently don't use the life events for changes. I know they wanted to look at it but if there is one they can live without this could be an option.
