BN100 not adding dependents

We are having an issue with dependents not being added back for coverage, via BN100, when an employee group changes. It seems to be isolated to employees returning from unpaid leave, where there is no contribution. In some cases the medical plan does have dependents added, but not dental, and in other cases neither plan has dependents flagged. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Yes, we have been struggling with this since the beginning of the year! Our fix right now is updating our BNEMDED library and changing the parameter for "Update Dependents" to Y. It's unsettling that something suddenly changed to "break" functionality though...

We did not as we don't utilize the ACA component in Lawson. We did, however, install the W4 CTPs.

Our HRIS department has reported this issue as well. Although, only been able to see it occur on dental. We haven't successfully replicated it repeatedly in our test environments. We applied the many W4 CTPs as well.

@lwoodworth - what part of BNEMDED are you referring?

Infor instructed us to apply CTP 121226 in KB 2095525. We are at least a year behind on our MSP due to institutional priorities which have depleted our resources. We struggled to duplicate in our test environment at first as well; we had to replicate our full overnight job schedule in order to reproduce.

I should note, also, that we have had an issue with dropping spouses from our family life insurance plan for years and one of our analysts suspected a bug in the BN100 code. However, we use a custom program to update our Ben Sal 1 so Infor won't work with us on that issue. This was the first time we have seen dropped dependents on medical and dental plans.

We are having the same issue. They had us load a patch, still didn't resolve the issue. We are still dealing with Infor to determine a solution.

Yes, similar issue but they asked us to load a different CTP. The issue was not resolved with the CTP they provided, so we are back at the drawing board.

CTP 121226 did fix it for us. Going to Production this weekend!

Can I ask what patch they had you load? We already have loaded CTP121266 and that did not work.

I worked with Maureen Johnson at Infor; she provided the patch number (121226) for the most recent library version. Is that what you mean?

We are still testing and up to 6 patches now, including 121226, but still no luck with the dependents. There are 2 more larger, recent patches that they also want us to install; this is all to get our BN100 up to date.

Has anyone else corrected the issue with patches?
