Does anyone use PR514 to make changes to Federal Taxes?
We use HR511 to add or rehire employees from our applicant tracking system. After this is done and they are in, we would use a PR514 to modify the federal tax that is created by the addition of an employee. (PR13 sets up a TXFD federal tax deduction by default) PR514 would modify their marital status and exemption choices on this.
Since the W4 2020 no longer user exemptions and added new fields, I am trying to get PR514 to work with the new style.
I took the same file we were using for PR514, passed the same data (but no exemptions), and added the 5 new layout fields to the PR514 (form year, multiple jobs, dependents, other income, and deductions)
When I load the PR514, it does not complain and acts like it takes the new data, but when I go to look on the new tab on PR13, none of the new data went in and nothing has changed.
Anyone use anything like this since the new W4 setup?
