I'm new to ION but have used MEC in the past.
I created a Custom Object Scehma within Data Catalog
How can I view this within 'Mappings' as the source document?
Currently I cannot select Type DSV and only selection is 'BOD'

You can only use BOD type with Infor applications. ION can transport DSV format from one place to another but it is not compatible with MEC.
You have to define File Template to read CSV, and create Custom BOD metadata based on sample CSV. Use this file template in File Connection point. You can create mapping from this generated Custom BOD metadata to another BOD.
