How to "install" a certificate in ION so it will be trusted for a HTTPS Web service call

We have a number of web service connections in ION, we want to secure the endpoints using HTTPS, however the server providing the web services uses a self-signed certificate.

How to "install" the certificate in ION so it will trust our self-signed certificate? It is an on-prem installation of ION 12, does the installation have to be done at the JDK level?

In ION Desk there is an option to import Certificate (cer or der format) in Configuration/ION Service/Configuration Files tab. Try to do it there.
