Has anyone ever setup a pool PTO bank for PTO donations. This would act as a bucket that all donations would be setup in and pulled from. Any thoughts or recommendations on how to accomplish this in Lawson would be great!
Since employees have different rates a pay, 1 hour of PTO doesn't have the same value for each employee. Instead employees indicate the number of hours they wish to donate, we process it as a sellback to convert it a dollar amount (taking the required taxes) and then the net amount is donated to our Foundation (we're a healthcare organization). Employees in need of assistance then apply to the Foundation. The assistance is not given to the employee in cash. If they need help with rent/mortgage, a check is made out to the landlord/mortgage company; if they need groceries, they are given a gift card to the grocery store, etc.
