We have an Employer Contribution and an Employer Match to our employees' 403(b) accounts. The ER portion is only calculated on "base pay" - so there are many pay codes that are excluded, such as overtime. Our issue is that our (soon-to-be) old system calculates 66.67% of the Holiday Worked pay code to be included when calculating the employer portion. Note that Holiday Worked is paid at 1.5, similar to overtime, but is not overtime and therefore only the base pay should be included.
We are considering separate pay codes for Hol Worked - base, and Hol Worked - premium, but wanted to reach out to see if anyone else has a similar situation and how you handle it.
