New BSI tax types for FFCRA and CARES

We installed BSI Reg. Bulletin 188 and mapped the new tax types in BSI. Does anyone know when they will be available in Infor (we are v 10.0.9) and what to do with them once they are available? Maybe I'm missing some documentation or instructions?

I opened an incident with Infor and here's what they said:

"At this time, Infor HRM Development has posted KB 2125218 addressing FFCRA. This article houses multiple attachments discussing this new act, as well as the LP and Payroll User Guides. Our development team is actively addressing the latest changes around this via JT-1405186. Once complete, notification will be sent out so to provide you with the KB and patch for the fix."

I emailed BSI Support to see if we actually have to pass the information to them via those tax types because our controller wants to handle things manually; here's what they said:

"Customers can choose to use or not use the BSI solutions at their discretion. Hope this helps! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact Support at 1-(877)274- 7873, option 1 or email us at support@bsi.com.???"

So they are once again playing really nicely in the sandbox with each other. We're not going to set up the tax types but we did map them in BSI after installing the reg bulletin.

I also reached out and got the message they were still working on this in Development. We are waiting also for this. We created our own FFCRA codes and would like to understand how to transition to BSI codes. There is a lot of manual work involved with these tax types. Any suggestions - please share. Thanks.

Hello Jenn, did you get an update on this? What are you currently doing for the FFCRA Employer tax credits or Qualified health plan expense and are eligible to be used as FFRCA tax credits?

We've chosen to do everything through accounting - our Controller didn't want to wait so I closed my incident.
