With the current demand on PPE supplies we have implemented strict limitations on ordering. We do however have stock that is being continuously refilled as available. In situation where you may wind up with surplus inventory for let say a specific gown size - what is the best way of tracking surplus inventory? We are tossing around the idea of either doing a separate bin location for the surplus items or a requesting location. I am unsure of the pros vs cons for each. Does anyone have suggestions? We still want to be able to perform our daily PPE reporting but we also need to track this sub section of surplus inventory as it relates to PPEs.
