IC Period End Inventory Valuation incorrect when last transaction for an item is a bin transfer.

FYI, One of our accountants identified a problem yesterday with the IC Period End Inventory valuation report. If the last transactions for an item during the month is a bin transfer then the report is incorrectly showing the unit cost as 0. As a result the period end valuation report is understated as it relates to the true value of the inventory for that period end. Infor has indicated that they have been able to replicate this issue and has forwarded it to development for review.

We have also identified that when the last transaction before the end of the period for the item was a cost adjustment due to an incorrect PO price then the price on the report in our instance is incorrect. We are using average cost, other valuation methods may not have same issue. The correction for this and the bin transfer issue were in the July MT CU but they were fixed with changes to how the transactions are recorded in IC as opposed to a change in the report itself so we are still evaluation those fixes.

We also have another issue for this report that is still in Development. The report has parameters for choosing the As of date for the report and whether the transactions should be limited by the transaction date or the update date associated with those transactions. From our experience those parameters are not being utilized in the resulting report. Regardless of what we enter the report generating a report as of the time that the report is run. If you run the report on 6/15 for 5/31/20 period end it includes June transactions up through the datetime that you run the report. This has been replicated by support and turned over to development.

This thread was 11 months ago, I still see the issue where when the last transaction for the month is a Cost Adjustment, it is posted to the GL but not reflected in the Period End Valuation until the following month.
