Infor Security Administration - Pre-Sync Data Check

Within ISA under the Federation drop down there is an option for "Pre-Sync Data Check" this then allows you to choose a Source. The Source drop down has Actor Data and Identity Data. If you select Identity Data there is a check box for Fix Data that is clickable. What does this process actually do and does it actually "Fix" anything?

The Pre-sync data check steps are outlined in the Infor Security Services Configuration Guide (Document number 44555 when looking for it in the knowledge base from Concierge or Infor Support Portal. 

It is in the  "The Check and Fix Identity Feature" section.
The first time you run the Identity Data pre-sync data check, DO NOT click on fix errors. 

You need to let the pre-sync data check run and then review the results in the LAWDIR/system/security_provisioning.log file.
The section of the guide that I mentioned has examples of the types of identity data issues that can occur and it tells you what actions to take to fix them. It also explains what will happen if you then go back and use the "Fix Errors" option for the Identity Data pre-sync data check.
