BSI TaxFactory 11.0 certification by Infor?

Has anyone heard when Infor plans on certifying TF11? According to BSI's decommission letter dated July 11, 2019, a copy of TF11 was provided to Infor for testing/certification on July 11, 2019 and that BSI would only be support TF10 for an additional 18 months.

The key statement in the letter was that: TaxFactory 10.0 will no longer be supported after January 11, 2021

Hey Mike,

1st, I gotta say I love the profile pic!

We went through a similar issue when BSI released Tax Factory 10.0 and version 9 was EOS. BSI sends the programming over, but Infor is notorious for delaying their certification of the upgrade.

The last time this occurred Infor certified version 10 in July 2015 for it to be in place by January 2016. I have asked Infor about version 11 in the past, but the response is that it was still in the certification process. My guess is that we will hear about Version 11 being certified some time next month. Be prepared though that you may need to perform an environment upgrade in order to be compatible with the latest version. Hope this helps.

Next month would be OK, I'm concerned about getting it along with year end patches! I think everyone has already had enough opportunities to excel this year.

It appears that they have released the certification for BSI v11 this morning for the Infor 10.0.10.

Good morning Greg, where did you see this in regard to the certification? And when you say 10.0.10, are you referring to Apps or LSF?

I probably should have said Infor has released a knowledge base article outlining the Support for BSI TF v11. We are not on this version so I cannot say

I received a notification yesterday that Infor certification has been completed against TaxFactory 11.0.b and the decommission date has been extended to April 30, 2021

Is the best approach to push for the 01/01/2021 go live date so that any differences would occur after year end and communication of differences could be sent out in a "look what's coming for the new year" or test as fast as possible and get it in so that the organization can adjust to any changes and request fixes, enhancements or process corrections post test?

Agree.. notification on extension to April 30, 2021. I also opened a support ticket on the process and received the following... " the update for Cloud clients will be scheduled and your BSI will remain in TF10 until the schedule for the update has been announced.

In essence, Infor & BSI don't want customers to have to run the upgrade in conjunction with Year-End. Everyone is stressed enough. Smart by both to keep customers as happy as possible in a tight situation. But that also means that as soon as YE is complete, it'll full speed ahead with the upgrades!
