No update on our inventory and no corrections

Looking for some help!

I ran inventory just like I did last year but it did not change any of the counts when we were done.
Below are the steps we did.

step 1 IC70
step 2 IC170
step 3 IC175 ran twice in the non-update mode to check counts, ran once in update mode to update inventory, which it did not, though the cover sheet for the report said it did.
step 4 IC179
step 5 IC233

Our main problem is it did not update our inventory, there are no corrections at all, it looks as though we never did inventory.

Anyone seen this before?

We have had it happen here. The IC175 body of the report should tell you why it didn't update. There may have been too many lines where it could not calculate cost or whatever - but it typically should tell you.

It did say
Cannot use select ID CHECK IC170 not run. Unsure why it is saying this?

That one's new to me - but things to check:

Make sure the ID on IC170 matches the one on IC175 *exactly*. If they are different, IC175 will report the overlap items - but not actually update.
Check if the report only IC175 was set to Delete Records. It shouldn't have done anything, but weirder things have happened in Lawson.
Check IC78 and see if there's a different select ID in use that cause weirdness.

FYI - You can download the IC175 that you wanted to post to csv and upload to IC24. Call the document something like PIFAIL2020. When you release the IC24, your SOH will adjust and post to the Over/Short. Finance can JE it somewhere else if needed.
