Reporting current Employee W4 data for both pre-2020 and post-2020 - SQL

Greetings,

We are S3 LSF v10 On-Premise. I'm needing to extract via SQL and report the employees current W4 Federal and State values for both pre-2020 and post-2020 changes.

EMDEDMASTR appears to have current data, HRHISTORY Fields 503,509,510 and 512 store changes made, and I believe that PRREGPARM Fields 6001 thru 6005 appear to be holding the post-2020 values

Is querying EMDEDMASTR and PRREGPARM the way to go here?

Good morning, if you go on PR13 and do cntl-shift-O on the new tax fields, it looks like the Tax Info 2 fields are being stored in PRREGPARM and the Tax Info 1 fields are in EMDEDMASTR. So it's possible that it is even worse than you thought

Looking forward to seeing how it works for you! I've been avoiding asking my ERP team to write a report to do this for me--because I am not able to make it work with Add-in queries now.

I was able to get the current PR13 post 2020 information when I built the query using the application as the query source and not the database tables. Of course this made the query really slow and cumbersome. I haven't tried pulling the history yet. Does anyone know if the phase 2 W4 CTPs allows the system to be able to log history (HR10) for the form year?

You can also run PR280 in report mode to see previous and current values. However, this will only be valid if HR10 is marked to log to history for the fields.

The Phase 1 update allowed all fields to be logged to history on HR10, Phase 2 corrected an issue where the 'Form Year' field was not logging to history.

If you have had your CTP's installed and you've marked your fields in HR10 to write to history, HRHistory should pull the information you need. The field numbers are different on HRHistory than the other tables however.
