Payroll or AP process automation

Is anyone using Intellias or another product for Payroll process automation or for AP check/ACH process automation? I saw a string from over a year ago on payroll but am hoping to get more input. We're on Lawson 10.0.9 in the cloud. We have a great ERP team, but they're understaffed, so we're hoping for something that is end-user friendly and adaptable. We process payroll for a healthcare system with over 5000 employees and seven different process levels. While we process them as one big payroll at once rather than separately by process level, we run certain jobs process level by process level, so it gets pretty cumbersome. Tell me what you can about vendors, IPA, experiences, and pitfalls!

Hi KJensen, for what it's worth, we process about the same number of employees, but they are in 30+ process levels, and we process our payrolls by process level. We use the multistep job functionality within Lawson portal to run our jobs in groups - for example, all the PR140s for weekly process levels in a single multistep job. We use a process flow to update parameters in each job step of the multistep jobs, like for instance the payment date on the PR140s. This makes running payroll much more manageable for our small payroll staff. It takes a little time to do the initial set up of the multistep jobs, but I have found that most automation tools I have tested out take about the same amount of set up and maintenance.
