Anyone using Fidelity to process 403b and 457b?

Wondering if anyone uses Fidelity to process the 403b and 457b files as INPUT and OUTPUT from and to Lawson. In the process of a conversion any insight would be appreciated. The file specs are so complex. How are you converting data from Lawson? . We are used to our old vendor who accepted a flat csv file. This is different. I searched old posts did not see an answer.

We currently use Fidelity for 401k, 403b, and 457 inbound and outbound updates. We have created a pre-processing job that interprets the file to create BN531 records for add/change/stops.
The same for the outbound file processed after payroll close.

There definitely is a lot to interpret.

My question is around outbound files. I am not understanding the specs document. I see something on the specs that says 9-track Tape or Cartridge EBCDIC. I see that we have several records that all go up to 80 spaces. Is the final file i am generating a txt file? We are not planning on using BN531 since we have a unique set up so we have to audit before loading. It is so confusing! I have worked with specs before but not like this.

Yes. The file you will SFTP to Fidelity is a simple txt file with 80 character records. Each field is fixed width and there is a little masking required on the amount values.
