Employee got terminated effective 07/20/2020 but now the termination date needs to be changed to 07/21/2020. Error states that the pos level 01 effective date .... is greater than the term date. Is there a way around for this correction?
Pryanka, I found some instructions that were written up for our payroll group. The document also contains a kb article number that you can look up. I am unable to attach them here. If anyone knows how to attach a file now - looks like they have updated something here - would you please send instructions? Otherwise, send me your email, Pryanka, and I will send you the document.
On pa13.2 there is an effective date that is later than the term date. You need to remove that record.
I had this same issue. Here is what infor support instructed me to do:
- Reactivate the employee record in HR11 by removing the term date and set the status to active. Make sure that these changes have an effective date of (your date) which can be entered on HR11 > effective date field. Once active, this will create an active PA13.1 record
- Match the active PA13.1 record with the data on the earlier PA13.2 record. Once matching, you can delete the current PA13.1 record.
- If you click on Previous or Next on PA13.1, you should be able to see that the new current record would be the earlier record on PA13.2
- This would then allow you to terminate the employee with the correct termination date either via PA52 or directly on HR11.
( I also ran PA113 after)

If you're having an issue with the upload, are you using IE? I find that Infor Xtreme doesn't play nicely with IE, but seems to work well with Chrome. Also - the support site "back in the day" used to look like it uploaded fine, but then did NOT upload if the file you were trying to upload was open in Excel at the time.
I just uploaded a test Excel file and it seemed to work fine?
Yes, this worked. So you did it in chrome--is that right?
I am using Chrome. When I select insert>image/file/video, I get a window that just has a text box for the path, and another textbox that says "no file or URL is selected" inside. If I type in the path and file name and click OK, it tells me the file is not allowed to be inserted. If I try to drag and drop the file, nothing happens. Can you tell me the steps you are using to upload a file? I'd appreciate it!
That's correct. Chrome, and I made sure the file was closed.
We have an employee that we rehired and now trying to reverse out the rehire action and getting the Pos level 01 effect date 12/14/20 is greater than term date. Her previous term date was 8/2/2010. I just did this with two other employees with no issues, but this one is pulling this error. We can't ever seem to get around this one. I read the document attached and I'm not able to resolve it using those instructions. I would appreciate any ideas.
Hi Mary - hoping I'm following this correctly but what my team has done for situations like this are as follows:
