Change Configured Maximum String Buffer Size

Hello,

I have an IPA using FTP node to transfer file to a remote site.  This is the first time I have gotten this message.  

Return message: Critical error in FTP660 - Thread:[3,190] - Size of 122,241,352 bytes exceeds configured Maximum String Buffer Size of 100 MiB

It seems there is a configuration to change this.  Can someone point me to where it is?

Good Afternoon dchen,

I think we came across a similar issue when we were building a payroll automation for union dues.  We were attempting to FTP the output of the PR140 from the LSF to the Landmark Server so it could be attached to an e-mail notification.  The PR140 report was too large to FTP from what I recall.  Infor support recommended zipping the file before FTPing.  A system command node is needed in order to perform the zipping operation.  Here is the command line to zip the file (example from our PR140 file):

7z a D:clientftpzipPR140.zip D:lsenvlawprintINFORBC_x0s0intrPR140-BMH1PR140.prt

Cloud Ops may need to install the 7z zip program on your server.  

When the zip operation has been completed put a wait node for 11 seconds so it gives IPA enough time to ensure the operation is completed.  Once that is done the FTP should work.
