I am curious how others are documenting Covid employees in Lawson or are you whether they are out for the quarantine period for themselves or family members.
We are not tracking this in Lawson. As a healthcare organization, this is part of their Employee Health medical record. The only entry in Lawson is if they are using PTO during their absence then that is recorded as part of the payroll process.
So you are not placing them on a leave etc? What if their time goes beyond the 10/14 days?
We populate absences for hourly employees on LP51 for use in creating a file to our STD carrier. If the reason for absence is covid illness/quarantine, that is noted as a comment on the LP51 (not sent to carrier). We are not tracking it for salaried employees.
