Hi,
How can we send BOD/documents from ION on-prem to datalake?
Regards,
Jibesh
Hey there Jibesh,
Data Lake is a part of Infor OS in the cloud so typically, you would ordinarily need to have ION available in MT to ingest into Data Lake. There are some folks that run a unique hybrid approach in which they have both Infor OS on-prem (for local integrations) and Infor OS in the cloud to leverage Data Lake and Coleman.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the reply...In Infor OS On Prem, under connection point I see one connection point as "Infor Cloud 2.0". Can we use it to send documents(BOD/JSON) from ION On Prem to datalake.
Attached screenshot of connection point for reference.
No, "Cloud 2.0" represents a tenant instance of an Infor MT application - who doesn't have an associated MT Infor OS.This model came in to being in the early days - to support integration between ION on-prem and MT applications that had been in the Cloud for a long time (such as EAM). This connection point cannot be used to represent Data lake.
