COSTING WHEN USING VISUAL SHOPFLOOR

We are just about to start using Visual Shopfloor and I am wondering how best to set up costing.  Up to now we have used machine run hours to attribute overheads to work orders - ie so much per hour.  However, Shopfloor relies on labour (clocking in and onto jobs and off them again).  Some of our machines run on 'lights out' so the operator will have clocked out but the job will still be running and consuming overhead.  Can anyone suggest how I might proceed?

We use backflush in our automated cells.  The operators are on indirect and the operations close at the run hours in the operation.  See Working with Backflush in the Visual Mfg Docs.  Basically, any resource n the cell is set as an "Autoreporting" resource and the first resource out of the cell (Cell Unload for example) is not autoreporting.  When an op closes in the first non-autoreporting resource, all autoreporting ops prior to it are closed at the same time.  The cell, itself, is assigned the labor tickets with an employee 000 being our cell employee that the labor goes to.
