I have a question for everyone. Does anyone have an employee wellness program where they offer a discount on health premiums if they meet a certain eligibility for wellness?
Yes, our health insurance has two rates, standard and wellness. Wellness is lower than standard.
Yes, we do. The discount is applied to each per check health deduction. We populate a user field indicating which level of discount the employee is eligible for. This user field is then used to assign employees to an employee group. The groups are then used with Option Amounts (BN18.1) and Option Rates (BN19.1) to assign the appropriate deduction amount.
We do the same thing. Has worked well for us for years using this method.
